For many college students and those with limited storage space, there are few jewelry storage solutions that fit their fluid and modest living areas.
We ideated on using modular plates with multiple display modes, such as hanging and free-standing. We then experimented with how to secure necklaces, which often tangled.

We narrowed our focus on a cross body bag that could be used on either side of the body to allow for more flexible use. Beyond that, we made a point to include a two-way radio clip, an external storage solution for tape, and a larger compartment in the front flap of the bag.
Jumping off the plate design, we favored filleted forms to soften the presence and make the case easy to integrate into the background of living space.

Users with limited surface space can choose the wall hanging option. The hanging view mode displays multiple cases in a perfect way for smaller spaces while maintaining an organized and accessible layout.

The final design has three plate designs for earrings, necklaces, and rings, with the ability to both hang and stand.

Magnets on the top and bottom faces of the Theia case allow stacking of up to three cases in a book-like composition. Whether the user is on the go or storing jewelry away, this ensures that the cases stay neatly together.
